The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

So dear ones... who are your guides?
Thank you all for all of your prayers. We have made it through and the back of the hurricane passed here between 7 and 8 a.m. I thank God because my whole back yard is like a forest but no trees down. You can't even walk on my deck because it is just branches piled upon branches and the back yard pretty much too, but I thank God for that. I tried getting the dogs out when the rain let up a little but they weren't having it. The boys will go inside if they have to but Penny won't and I wish she would. I can clean it all up but she has bladder issues and I worry about her. I am watching every minute for the rain to let up so I can rush out with her again. I continue to pray for all north of us who are going to get the worst of it. Godspeed to any of you in Irene's path. You will be constantly in my prayers... Love, so much love, to all...
It is a lovely Saturday morning and I am enjoying the day with the pugs and the parrots and having a conversation with God, and my angels, and my spirit guides. We chat every morning. It's nice to know that you are never alone. I'm getting very excited to open my practice and Monday I finish the final level of attunements to become a Reiki Master, and next month the intensive training to be a Master Healer in the Shamballa method. I have also begun to study and use daily the audio brain wave from http://www.store.unexplainable.net/ and am working with essential oils and crystals. I do a form of deep listing with my clients and get spiritu messages for them so I am spending a lot of time in deep meditation, prayer and practice. I will be working with women and animals. That is most comfortable for me. It feels right and spirit led. Now my congregation of Saints, Angels, Spirit Guides, Pugs and Parrots are about to make a latte with me and keep me company while I drink it. I have to take Penny to the vet today, my newest tiny pug from the rescue who has serious skin issues. The new meds are making her hair fall out but apparently it's a good thing. It's healing the skin and the hair will fall out and it's quite alarming to see but my vet who saw her a week ago will check her out. Hold a good thought for my wee tiny girl...
